French style Apple Tart

  • Pan
  • Oven safe silicone mold (round shape preferred)


  • 3 Apples
  • 120 grams Sugar
  • 1 sheet Puff pastry
  • 1 tbsp Butter unsalted


  • Peel, scoop the center and cut each apple into 8 slices
  • Heat (medium flame) sugar in a medium size sauce pan and add butter when sugar turns brown
  • Add apple slices and cook until golden brown. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes
  • Let the cooked apples cool for 10 minutes
  • Cut the puff pastry as per the oven safe silicon mold shape
  • Arrange apple slices in the mold and cover it with the puff pastry sheet
  • Use fork to make few holes on the covered puff pastry sheet
  • Preheat Overn 375 degrees and bake for 45 minutes
  • After baking is done let it cool for 10 to 15 minutes outside the oven
  • Once cooled, flip it on a plate on plain surfcae and your French Style Apple Tart is ready!
  • Cut the Apple Tart into 8 slices and top with ice cream
